Founded in 1935, Monarch Industries is a privately owned, vertically integrated manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and custom iron castings. These products are marketed globally to the Mobile, Ag, and Industrial markets through the Original Equipment, Distribution and Retail channels we serve. Employing over 500 people, Monarch’s corporate office is located in Winnipeg, Canada. With a foundry in Winkler, Canada and a distribution center in Kansas City, Missouri, Monarch has positioned itself to service the needs of all our customers’ diverse requirements.

Our quality system is registered to the international ISO 9001 (2008) standard for design, manufacture and service of our products. ISO 9001 is the highest and most comprehensive quality system, covering design, manufacturing, installation, and servicing systems. In addition, Monarch has also received recognition for its quality products and services from long standing customers such as CNH, John Deere, Ingersoll Rand and Bush Hog.

Committed to creating a healthier environment for its employees and the community, Monarch Industries worked towards, and received, the ISO 14001 (2004) environmental management standard. The ISO 14001 standard exists to help organizations minimize how their operations may negatively affect the environment; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements; and continually improve in each of these areas. Monarch first attained the ISO14001 standard in its Winkler foundry operations in 2009 and then again in 2011 for its Winnipeg operations. Monarch was one of the very first foundries in North America to achieve this environmental award and remains one of a small number that has attained ISO 14001 approval.
